Taste is different in the other side of the world
As you all know mangosteen or manggis in Malay are commonly available in market for rm3-5 per kg. In this side of the world, we only eat the white flesh and throw the rest away. However in U.S., mangosteen isn’t available in supermarket and most people have never seen the fruit before. They only know of mangosteen juice which is high in antioxidant and is commonly sold to patients who need to boost their immune system. Each 25oz bottle of juice is selling for as high as US$35.
